The new Firntec Technical Centre provides comprehensive technical consultancy packages to support landlords and compliance teams facing increasing demands and changing legislation. Our team of highly qualified Fire Safety Consultants with specialised expertise in the residential sector offer a range of services, including technical Fire Safety support, third-party project support, and assistance with creating Building Safety Cases.
This retained Professional Consultancy service provides your organisation with prioritised and readily available support whenever required. Our team of consultants at Firntec specialise in residential fire safety, we provide a dedicated in-house contact to assist you with all your building safety queries and concerns.
Inclusions of the Fire Safety Technical Retainer:
This is the base package which is required for all other services listed below. Specific consultancy is then charged at an additional rate.
The Building Safety Case Consultancy is designed to support organisations without dedicated Building Safety Managers in managing their buildings and preparing for compliance with the Fire Safety Act and Building Safety Act.
We employ a 3 stage process for completing building safety cases:
Stage 1 – Information review & Gap Analysis
A consultant will conduct a comprehensive review of all current information and reports to identify any missing information and potential gaps in the data.
Stage 2 – Proposal of solutions to address Information Gaps
After completing Stage 1, we will provide bespoke proposals to address the identified gaps in information.
Stage 3 – Submission and approval of Building Safety Case
In this final stage, we will compile all relevant information and draft the Building Safety Case reports for your specific buildings, ready for submission and approval.
We recognise that complying with the Building Safety Act and managing high-rise buildings over 18m can be a significant challenge for landlords, particularly for those who may not have the resources to employ a full-time Building Safety Manager. To address this, we offer a Building Safety Manager Support Service where one of our experienced consultants can be assigned to your organisation to assist your compliance team with some of the responsibilities of the Building Safety Manager role.
This service is especially useful for landlords with a few high-rise buildings that fall within scope. With our consultancy and support, you can establish a strong relationship with the assigned consultant to ensure that your organisation is compliant with the necessary regulations.
